Week 8 of term 3 the school had it's safety day. The school had several visitors to educate the students on the various aspects of safety in our community.
Week 7 of term 3 we celebrated Fathers/ Carers day. Many of the fathers and carers came in to the school and joined in with some activities with the students.
Week 6 of term 3, the school had their book week. Most students dressed up as one of characters from their favourite book. There were some very creative outfits.
On the 100th day of school, the students dressed as if they were 100 years old. Many of the students stayed in character for most of the day which made for a fun, although at times slow, school day.
Leading up to week 8 of term 3, the year 3-6 students developed their math skills by learning Numero. A select group of year 5/6 students then went to Esperance to compete against other students from the Esperance and Mallee area.
The students combined with the other Mallee schools for swim lessons and various activities around Esperance.
This term for sport we are focusing on Tennis and Bowls. Thank you to the coaches Helen Perks and Rachel Young from Condingup Bowls Club, and Bastien Henrotin from the Esperance Tennis Club.
