Our History

The original Condingup Primary School commenced at Linkletter’s Place in 1961. Mr Linkletter provided the facilities and the Education Department supplied the teacher. The first Principal was Mr Ron Newton. There were approximately fifteen students enrolled.

The present Condingup School was opened in 1964. The Principal was Mr David Farquar and the enrolment numbers were approximately thirty. The extensions to the school were opened on 6th August 1983.

School Crest
The Condingup Primary School crest was introduced into our school while Mr Ian Hancock was Principal some twenty years ago. The banksias' plant represents the local flora while the three sheep and three cattle represent the local farming industry.
