Applications for 2026 student transport assistance

School Bus Services (SBS) is encouraging parents to submit transport assistance applications before 14 November 2025 to secure their child’s seat for 2026. SBS has provided resources to help promote the closing date, noting that late applications may not be processed in time for Term 1 2026.

Transport assistance is available to students who:

live in a regional area and meet the eligibility criteria for mainstream students
have special needs and meet the eligibility criteria for education support students.

Please apply online at School Bus Services. To save a seat for your child, we encourage you to submit applications before 14 November 2025.

Families that are already registered with School Bus Services do not need to reapply if there are no changes to their current circumstances. However, if you have changed your residential address or school you will need to reapply for transport assistance.
